Hi!

So as you already would have guessed, my name is Tom Rutjens. Born on the 9th of December in 1986, so currently 23 years old. I was born in Rotterdam and raised in a small town with a big name called ‘Hellevoetsluis’. I still live there with my parents, although I’m going to move out this year

I’ve studied Animation and Games at the Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam. This education made realizing the dream that I had since I was a kid closer to reality. I was very good with drawing and I just loved to play videogames. The game that I’ve played and still think is the best game that was ever created is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The game inspired me to get myself into the gameindustry.

So years were passed and I got a job at a game developer in Rotterdam. The company was called Codeglue. I was hired as an Game Artist. Because the company is really small (atm 4 people excluding interns) the roles in the company became really general. We almost do everything together.

So, 3 years later and I still work there

Last but not least. I’ve got a girlfriend, her name is Yvette and she is the most important person in my life
